A Gambler's Anatomy

Alexander Bruno travels the world searching for people who, unaware of his psychic abilities, think they can challenge him in backgammon, and pay a high price to discover they can't. But when a blot in his vision prompts a concerning diagnosis, he is forced to turn to unlikely people and places, and to confront an existential question- is the gambler being played by life?
