Escape From England : From Sacred Hearts To Tribal Arts

Bok av Miranda Crimp
As a snake slithers from its skin, Miranda shed the remains of the Victorian era to emerge onto the world scene. After surviving the rigors of the proper accent and a raft of Christianity while entrenched in a bleeding hearts convent, she fled to France, the land of 246 varieties of cheese and her initiation into the  French attitude. Crossing the Atlantic she donned a pair of rabbit ears and was inducted into the Playboy Club and the mysteries of the American male mind, before zig zagging across the United States in a primrose yellow E Type Jaguar. On reaching San Francisco she won the right to be one of the first married women to waitress in the not so friendly skies, to be conscripted to patrol the aisles of an aluminum tube  at 37 thousand feet, slinging out rice and water to pilgrims on their way to redemption in Mecca, while on the road to discovering her passion for Tribal Art.
