En fantastisk bok. I början är den lite långtråkig men efter ett tag börjar man hänga med i alla ortsnamn och konstiga vikinganamn och då är den riktigt spännande. Man får följa Uthred som är en Viking som är trött på alla dessa kristna präster som predikar om Jesus. Han är en nobel man med en agenda och man får följa hans tankar när han försöker överlista sina fiender.
Boken är skriven i jag-form vilket för mig var lite konstigt att hänga med i först men man vänjer sig vid det också. Jag kommer absolut läsa fler böcker i samma serie.
