Sauron, the Dark Lord, has gathered to him the Rings of Power - the means by which he will be able to rule the world. All he lacks in his plan for dominion is the Ruling Ring, which has fallen into the hands of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins.
En klassiker som är riktigt, riktigt bra. Jag tycker att alla som påstår sig gilla filmerna även borde se till att läsa böckerna bakom dem.
Ett mästerverk, som är väl förpackat. Som alla böcker inom fantasy så måste man vara beredd på att ta del av en ny värld. Tar man sig tiden att förstå och uppskatta detta, så blir det svårt att hitta en bättre bok.
