En väldigt orginell och trevlig bok fylld av magi blandat med stora historiska händelser. En speciell familj och en syskonskara med mycket kärlek till varandra som försöker lösa livets Mysterium..

En av dem gör allt för att motverka medan de andra två från början insett att de är häxor och har övernaturliga gåvor. De skickas till sin moster i Massachusetts och lär sig väldigt mycket om familjen Owens historia och om örter och brygder.
En välskriven bok som jag tyckte om. Även om den bitvis var lite rörigt med alla häxkonster och förmågor så gillade jag den. Jag tyckte om beskrivningen av syskonrelationen som verkade djupare än allt annat. Jag tyckte också om de tre syskonen och hur olika de var. En varm berättelse. Läsvärd 📚📚📚📚 av 5.

Till skillnad mot många andra sträckläste inte jag den här boken, istället har det tagit lång tid för mig att ta mig igenom den. Det är en bok och historia med mer än vad som syns först, med flera lager som gör att tankar om boken och karaktärerna kan dyka upp lite när som helst. Den biter sig fast och jag är glad att jag lät den få den tid som jag behövde för att ta mig till den. En bok om familjeband och storslagen kärlek. Helt klart mycket läsvärd.
