His quest takes him from a life of decadence to asceticism, from the illusory joys of sensual love with a beautiful courtesan, and of wealth and fame, to the painful struggles with his son and the ultimate wisdom of renunciation.
Detta är en bok som jag tycker alla borde läsa. Den handlar kortfattad om en indisk snubbe som går igenom flera olika faser av sitt liv, medan han beger sig på en resa för att hitta ett inre lugn och upplysning.
