En sjukdom / pandemi sprider sig över jorden och många dör och blir sjuka. Vi får följa en grupp människor som försöker fly undan smittspridningen och deras problem. Alla lyckas naturligtvis inte och det blir mycket bråk inom gruppen men allt är mycket spännande och aktuellt. Det finns en filmatisering som inte alls är lika bra som boken. Så välj boken.
