Sista boken handlar om Gregory. Han tror sig blir kär men upptäcker efter ett tag att han trott sig vara kär i fel person. Det är en annan som får hans känslor men hon är redan förlovad. Gregory gör allt han kan för att övertyga henne om att han är den rätte.
Det är med lite sorg i hjärtat jag nu läst ut den åttonde och sista boken om familjen Bridgerton, ”Ett livsavgörande ögonblick” av Julia Quinn. Jag älskar den familjen, det är så härligt att läsa en bok där man gillar alla i familjen. Det händer inte så ofta. Det finns inte så många böcker som jag läser om, men den här serien kan jag faktiskt tänka mig att läsa om om några år. Nu när jag känner alla syskonen så skulle jag se på dem på ett annat sätt när jag läser de böckerna där de bara har biroller.

Boken börjar med ett bröllop som avbryts av Gregory Bridgerton där han störtar in i kyrkan och deklarerar sin kärlek till bruden.
